Heroics
Each public event has its own heroic counterpart. This will provide you with extra xp and rewards at the end of the public event. These are usualy triggered by certain aspects within each public event.
How to trigger heroic public events
Glimmer Drills
In this event, fallen ships will drop elite vandals around an area in which three drills are draining glimmer from the ground. After about five seconds of them spawning, another smaller drill will spawn. To activate the heroic, you must destroy this drill before killing the vandals and the captain at each station. Do this three times and ou will activate a control point filled with glimmer. protect this and you will have completed the heroic public event.
Cabal Drills
In order to activate the Cabal drill heroic event, after around 35%-40% a cabal ship will fly downwards towards the drill and you need to destoy it. Use rocket launchers and a super if neccisary. If you cant manage to get it the first time around it will reappear later. After killing it a cabal colossal will spawn and you need to kill him. Thats all.
Taken thingy
A big ball will spawn and a little ball with a shield will spawn nearby. Enter the shielded ball then walk out and shoot the big ball. It takes ALOT of damage and you need to kill it before killing all the taken that spawned. after doing enough famage a random boss spawns and you kill the boss.
Cabal giant shielded thingy
after the thing starts to burn you shoot various vents around the mechanism then kill the boss that spawned.
Hive witch ritual
kill the two witches fast by standing on the plates then shoot the two crystals that spawn on the portal. Then kill big hive knight boss
Tank
damage the tank until it drops orbs and fill the orbs to unlock all of the scorch cannons.
